    Is there a possibility of supporting Microsoft Edge in the future with spywareblaster?

    I'd like this too but sadly SpywareBlaster development is incredibly slow so I'm not expecting to see this feature added any time soon.

    MS Edge doesn't make use of ActiveX controls anymore, perhaps that's why?

    @javacool ,

    Is there an update to include Edge planned for the [near] future?

    Edge was released in a "minimal feature set" initial version. Microsoft has said they are committed to adding functionality (like extension support and further customizability) to future releases of Edge, which will be rolled out to all Windows 10 users. We are eagerly awaiting them to do so.

    In the interim, we have many other improvements planned and in-progress. :)

    Now that Edge has extension support, is it possible for Spyware Blaster to support Edge?

    @derekmski: The Edge extension APIs are not fully available, nor is the ability to distribute extensions available to all developers. (If you'll notice, the Edge Extensions gallery still has the same small number of extensions listed - this has been the case for quite some time now.) We look forward to investigating the options available once Microsoft fully releases the Edge extension APIs and enables all developers to work on solutions.

    Anymore updates on this.. a vast amount of people use Microsoft Edge with Windows 10 so this Spyware Blaster software is not much use for Windows 10 operators..
    Please can we have a version that works for Edge!!!!

    The next major iteration of Microsoft Edge is switching to a completely different codebase (based on Chromium). We are looking forward to putting it through its paces.

    Now that MS Edge Chromium is publicly in beta testing and appears to be moving rapidly to final release, will a new Spywareblaster be issued to support this browser? Hopefully we will not have to wait until the browser final release.
