I upgraded to Windows 10 and installed w10privacy immediately. Checked most of the green categories. Everything works well, except the functionality of Windows 10 Spotlight. When you go into settings, the picture preview for spotlight is always grey, it's never downloaded a single picture. Sometimes it's hard to select it, it will revert to picture or slideshow. I've poked around and allowed Edge to run in the background for Bing. I've reinstalled the content delivery manager. I've tried the 3rd party app, Dynamic Themes. That app will pull the daily Bing pic up but won't do so automatically, manually only. Does anyone have any idea what might be blocking Spotlight from functioning? I figure its one of w10privacy settings causing this.
Have you tried the steps from poster Lucas T shown in this thread? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...t-change/443cc26c-29f1-4481-80c9-6fb7130f6191
Yes, I tried that, also. That's the part about reinstalling the content delivery manager. I tried everything in that link to a tee, but to no avail. I cant get any picture to show up when you're in settings and have windows spotlight selected. Just a grey box.
Buggy feature, even without w10privacy. Try these 9 solutions: https://windowsreport.com/windows-10-spotlight-issue/
