AdwCleaner updates and discussion thread

I don't see that changing anytime soon. What about all the people who don't know about the spywareblaster connection.

 

because this program is not needed for security?

adwcleaner only found such domains in zones - but you can see and edit it in the system control > internet options > security in which zone SB inserted those.
it should be the restricted area, any other is stupid.

 

@jadinolf @Dragon1952 I presume that "do not detect vaccines anymore" which is listed in the changelog means that AdwCleaner shouldn't be detecting entries from SpywareBlaster anymore. If so, then maybe this will be fixed soon. But, I may be wrong about this.

 

I don't know but when I saw a huge amount of files that should be deleted I just assumed they were from SpywareBlaster. In the old days AdwCleaner never found anything on my machines. Yes, I could be wrong too.
