Anyone here using this, or even better, used this as well as POP Peeper for a comparison?
I used POP Peeper for many years without any hassles.
Just wish there was a Linux choice.

I used Pop Peeper many years ago but soon switched to PopMan because I think it's a bit easier to use. Anyway, both apps are great, so just give them both a try and decide for yourself which of the two apps you prefer.

    - The reason I use POPMAN is that the program allows me to read an email, without loading the socalled "External content" (pictures, attachments, ........... etc.). If I would have loaded that "External content" then that is a confirmation that my emailadress exists for the spammer who has sent that email. Then I will continue to receive (more) spam.
    - After having removed the unwanted email from the emailserver, I start my other emailprogram, which also has a "External Content" filter. Using these 2 programs in this way together has reduced the amount of spam I receive from say 20 to 30 pieces of spam per week to about 6 per month.

I noticed this feature when I first ran the program two or three days ago. I liked it.

I'm using the latest PopMan. For the last few years I've noticed it doesn't properly delete Yahoo emails. Let's say I had 10 messages and I delete the lot. Five reappear when it next runs a check. I delete those 5 and 2 reappear, etc.

Non Yahoo messages delete without this bug. Do others have this issue?

I noticed a bug with deleetion on gmail accounts, I don't use any other service. Lets say I delete a new message tagged as important, popman moves it from Inbox to Important label instead of Trash.

Send the developer an message with a description of the bug/odd behaviour. POPMAN's website used to have a forum but that's closed. Too much spam & bots.

I'm afraid you need to turn on less secure apps access.
