This looks to be a solid sell for Microsoft which could lead to even more business for the tech giant. Shocking they won the bid up against some pretty mainstream heavyweights too.
All the kids who grew up playing XBOX with their microsoft headsets will now use advanced XBOX headsets for real combat. And who said war games aren't for training kids for real war?
That's always been the plan. As I recall, some services have long been using customized shooters in training. Marines, maybe?

50 employees vs 460 millions usd... They weight peanuts. Their argument is ridiculous, is not like hololens have mass destruction capabilities... If we start thinking like them then don't sell knives and forks to the military, they can kill people with.. Misplaced ethics.. . Military is one of the main entities that push development and popularisation of technologies (microwave, internet, etc...). If it was me, I would give military more budget to have high-end and adequate equipments to do their job more safely, and save their lives. If hololens can give them that, like better battlefield realtime info and intercommunications, so i second that.
