New version of New.Net

    Is this a new version of New.Net?

    New.net Client Application v3.88

    Ad-aware fail to catch it.

    Spy-bot search & Destroy crashed trying to find and kill it error.

    Bo-clean went insane and practically committed suicide attempting to get rid of it almost stalled my OS.

    TDS identified it and found its location but could not remove it.

    I had to go Old school to get rid of it.

    all new.net can be removed very easily by
    uninstall newdot net by following advice here http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

    most antiviruses/antitrojans or adaware/spybot will NOT remove or attempt to remove new.net because it's uninstaller works better & does completely clean it from the computer

    Maybe additional?
    You have to remove the link from your hosts file (if in use) temporarely when you go to that site.

    or use a proxy server because all proxies bypass the hosts file

    I have a proxy set up & only use it by ticking the use a proxy server box in IE when I need to get to a blocked site for some reason ( I normally do use the IE hosts file for safety & to cut down on blasted ads )

    That's OK OS, When you find something like that all most folks want to do is get rid of the damn things as quickly as possible. :D

    Guess it will be a good idea to disable system restore - reboot and enable it again and create manually a new system restore point to be completely rid of it?
