I would like to give a chance as my next free email client on Windows XP. Excellent security level: https://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-12415/Claws-mail.html Thunderbird 52.9.1 was released on 10 July 2018. Too many open vulnerabilities. _________________________________ Does not work !!
I beg your pardon? That version is outdated. The newest Thunderbird version is 60.6.1 published recently.
Thunderbird 60.X does not work in Windows XP. I assumed that Claws Mail can be installed on Windows XP. Instead it doesn't work because Glib is now incompatible with XP. But I haven't found any system requirements that warn of this.
Ah, I see! On the other hand, running an email programm with "too many open vulnerabilities" on an OS with "too many open vulnerabilities" (because support for it ended years ago) doesn't probably make a difference anyhow

Nothing to be sorry for SKA. No such thing as a dumb question in my book. Oh I missed that gpg4win question. I don't think you need to install it though for gpg to work. https://www.gpg4win.org/
