Is there a way to stabilize the extension icons that are located out from the address bar in Vivaldi browser? There have been so many times that I have started to click on an extension icon and it moves. If I don't notice what it is doing, it will make me click on the wrong icon because they move. I have looked for settings and tried so many different things but nothing has helped. I notice the address bar enlarges and changes sizes so many times. I'm guessing that is why I'm having the extension icon problem. Is there a way to fix this? If so, how? None of the other browsers do this so why does this one do it and how to make it stop? I've looked on their forum but can't find an answer to it there. I was hoping someone here will know how to do it. Except for this problem, I like this browser more than the others.

It can be annoying. Have you tried right-clicking on an extension and selecting "hide button?" That's create an overflow menu; where hidden extension are still there but the menu (three vertical dots) needs to be expanded in order to see the button. I've noticed when I do this the movement stops. I only have three visible.

Yes, I've tried that also and it didn't work either. The icons still keep moving so I just went back to using Opera instead. Thank you! I appreciate you trying to help me!

I've used Opera before I tried Vivaldi and these extension icons aren't moving. I wouldn't still be using it if they were moving like Vivaldi does. I got tired of starting to click on one icon and before I could click, it moves and has made me click on the wrong one. I'm not slow with clicking either.

well, v47 is not able to move, they are fixed with the time being loaded. (earlier means most left)

Do you mean that after restart, extension icons might be in a different order? Because that does indeed sometimes happen, but I haven't seen this in a while. But they never move in real time, like you described.

No, they are in the same order but they won't stay still. I have hidden all but 2 or 3 and they still move either to the left or to the right sometimes. I start to click on one of the icons and it moves and makes me click on the wrong icon. I have disabled extensions but none of this made a difference. Because of this and the fact I can't find a fix for it, I quit using it.
