    Target arrow + 12 gauge birdshot shell + ~5 cm length of ~2 cm ID Al tubing :)

    I wouldn't do it either as I am a law abiding person. But you could carry a can of foam gap filler and spray it. That stuff sticks and would ruin a camera without actually breaking the lens or plastic.

    One of the funniest things I've seen was a nature documentary where they were trying to capture some tigers going about their business. The first deployment was destroyed by the tiger quite casually. They hid the second set rather more carefully. The tiger goes straight up to the thing, you see the camera wobble, then go dark....
