SUMo : Keep your software up to date

No cigar for that comment I'm well aware of the delete/ignore/skip options. I guess we'll have to live with the quirks. The ignore/skip list keeps getting bigger and bigger.

 

Yes, I understand, but in this specific case, there's not much i can do since the same sub-product identification (name/company) is used in 2 distonct products with different versionning.

 

I use a program called Display Driver Uninstaller. Have it's folder in C:\Display Driver Uninstaller. The program exe is Display Driver Uninstaller.exe and if I try to add it to SUMo, it goes through all the steps but never shows up in the list. Any ideas? Possibly, this was covered already somewhere in the 127 pages of posts, so I'll apologize in advance.

Sumo Portable does not notify the new 5.49 version of CCleaner.

I see the CCleaner company name was changed in the SUMo database.
Up to and including CCleaner 5.48.0.6834 SUMo showed Piriform Ltd as the company name for CCleaner, since CCleaner 5.49.0.6856 SUMo shows Piriform Software Ltd as company name.
I suppose because of the changed company name, SUMo doesn't recognize the new version as the same program, so SUMo doesn't recognize the new version as an update to the previous version.
Perhaps Kyle can fix this.

I see that CCleaner 5.49.0.6856 is now in the SUMo database both by Piriform Ltd and by Piriform Software Ltd.
