MOBackup - Outlook Backup is a backup program for Outlook.

    Site:
    http://www.mobackup.com/

    Some info from the site:

"Backup your Microsoft® Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2000 e-mails and settings regularly. Restore your data in case of need or transfer it from one computer to another".

"MOBackup - Data Backup for Outlook 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 and 2000 is a backup solution for archiving of your E-mails, Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Rules, E-mail Accounts, Signatures, etc...as well as for the Favorites / Bookmarks of the browsers Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Google Chrome, Business Contact Manager Databases and the OneNote Notebooks".

    ==========

I'm starting this thread as kind of a split-off from the AJSystems thread because AJSystems has stopped, MOBackup was mentioned there and it could be a replacement for users who previously used Outback Plus (from AJSystems).

    My first impression.

MOBackup take me the triple time to backup outlook than Outback.

To automate a backup i need to enter it manually in Task sheduller.

When starts a backup, MOBackup can not shut down Outlook and stops until i close Outlook.

Here is one that I've heard of, but I've never used. It's somewhat different than mobackup, as it backs up the actual pst files:

Not really equivalent. As always you get what you pay for

    Hi molhopicante,

I wanted to say: maybe the (old) AJS Open File manager could help here, if you still have it and if you ever bought it from AJSystems. But, as I understand from you, you migrated to a new C-drive. And then it will not work as activition is needed for AJS Open File manager.
Quotes in that respect from Al in my reply 75 in the AJSystems thread.

I use MailStore Home for my email backups.
Can't compare it with Ouback plus or MObackup, since I never used them...

The others go beyond email Outback plus also kept all of Outlooks settings. It was vital if you wanted to set up Outlook on a new machine without having to recreate all accounts.

I just backup the .pst. You can transfer this to a new computer. (Robocopy script, Scheduled Task)

Just a little "PS" and "For Your Info":
The thread title has been changed; added was "(And Other Outlook backup programs)" in the title. ;)
