Beautiful graphics quality! Initiative to compensate devs is good too! But... No option to set x on right side of windows? Bummer! No right-click on panel? Where's the dark mode option? It's there somewhere. No Vivaldi in software repo.? Naw, with previous post, i just can't get into that "pantheon" for now.
I don't use this personally but in my opinion is the distro we should all be steering new users to. It's a walled garden and not as customizable as some other distros.. but man, It's pretty the whole way through and straightforward to use. Sometimes you don't want to give people to many options so they can get on with their lives without complications.
I can't give you numbers, but pantheon seems really light weight. Have it on a families low powered netbook and it runs extremely smooth. It feels comparable to XFCE\LXDE
I wanted to try this but I can't get it to run on my Ryzen CPU with Gigabyte MB. Neither this or the old version.
Does it work well on the 2010 Unibody Macbook? Has anyone tried it? Does everything work out-of-the-box? Apple is no longer updating it, so I'm looking for an alternative.
