Note that in this more comprehensive test, vendors are penalized for false positive and user interaction. The big surprise is Kaspersky's poor showing.
Well, it's not that poor, but what can users do about it? Is there security software which is compatible with KIS, so that it can safely be used alongside Kaspersky to have an additional layer of security? Just curious.
I wouldn't worry about it. Like I have stated previously about averaging of lab test scores, Kapersky on average has been one of the top scoring AV's in the lab tests.
There is a difference. Some got the malware detection: Medal of honor *** Silver star ** Bronze star * And one got the latrine honorable mention award …………...
It's interesting to measure them up from a non-AV user perspective as each occasional test results in a different although familiar vendor. No pro or cons to offer really except if I was still on XP it might draw my careful attention as to where they stand out best and how often they are awarded a top result compared to previous ones. Carry on AV'ers.
You don't need any additional security tool for extra layer of security with Kaspersky, just tweak it properly!
I did tweak it! So I guess you're right. There's probably no need for any additional security app. Less is more. @LoneWolf Thanks for your suggestion. Much appreciated.
