It sure seems unfair I agree.

That's why they do it, an enticement to drive us on there. Not happening.

Why is it unfair. The decision was made on how to do it. It's that simple

Quite understood Pete. They are at liberty to do as they surely well please with the platform deemed best to advance this app and since it's their own selective format decided to exclude the others.

90$ software which is normally limited to SMBs/enterprises, be happy they just requires a social media share. Nothing is really free in this world...

The question is, why exclude a very large proportion of potential users for the sake of generating an artificial approval rating on Twitter?

Don't ask me that. I was asked to post it here and I did so. I doubt it was ratings, but convenience. Anyway it is what it is.

Agree 100%. but this doesn't convince me to use social media just to get a free app - not worth it.

There were not much infos. Anyway, direct giveaways are all dependent of the company doing it, they can change the terms anytime (opposed to partnered giveaways, where terms are fixed between the company and the partner, whatever it is a site, distributor or else)

Not to worry, tweet deleted and replaced with appropriate disgruntled rant.

When I follow the link it seems to have the same content that I saw this morning, unless I'm missing something.

No true zero improvements. There is indeed one major one.
