That page got me confused is it subscription software now or is it free upgrades until the next major version... the text in the description says the later but the purchase page says the former....
If you are using 3.2.1 Pro it can be used but will not be updated. You can use 4.0 for 30 days or purchase a new licence which will be discounted for users of 3.2.1 Pro.
I saw the update on MajorGeeks but when I saw it was version 4 I knew it would be an upgrade. Haven't seen the pricing yet. I see it is now annual instead of like version 3 where all updates for 3 were included. I may just uninstall 3 and if I need to use it I will buy 4 when the time comes. I use it rarely and I don't want to burn up time for the sake of having the latest.
$14.99 for a year to upgrade for 1 computer.Do not know if I am getting the secret squirrel price or its the same for any user who has a previous licence. Going to try Pro in the Vm just to make sure there are no bugs.
May go for the Pro Portable upgrade at $19.99, but also not sure if Free isn't all I need for single uninstall, and scanning and removal of leftovers.
It's nice to see that finally, Revo can scan for leftovers after rebooting. IObit Uninstaller introduced that three years ago, after I suggested it to them. Until an update is released for the free version, then Revo Pro will do a better job of scanning for leftovers. But if have no idea, if there will be much difference in the results.

It's good to see Revo Uninstaller 4 has be released , they final improve the UI , make the software looks better . But looks like they stop selling the lifetime license anymore , The premium user still can use your pro version forever , but only get the upgrade if your subscription still available . I understand that if a company want operate for a long time, need stable income and funds , but be honestly , I don't like subscription mechanism either . The uninstall tool is not the program we usually use for every day , subscription mechanism makes user feel , if i didn't use it , than i am wasting money for every day . This is a difficult choice , increase the price or using subscription mechanism , i think Revo understand what they are doing , i guess the sales status will give them the answer.

In my opinion their software is terrible. The registry cleaner in Registry Booster/PC Mechanic/SpeedUpMyPC has issues with false positives. DriverScanner is not very good and there are much better alternatives. Uniblue Security Suite (which is a rebrand, rather than their own product) is one of the worst antiviruses there is. However, IObit Uninstaller is very good, even if you only use the free version.
I agree. I have two v3 Pro licenses previously bought at deal prices, but bought a portable v4 for at the upgrade price, just to try, if only for one year.
