Very bad development, I believe governments should regulate this stuff. Or they should give people a basic income for free.

I don't think I'd worry too much about call center jobs. I don't know of anyone that's called up a company and said "that was a great experience talking to a a machine". It's usually "shut up and connect me to a person".

Something like that. Or perhaps everyone should boycot the companies using the automation. It wouldn't have to be a permanent thing, just enough to hurt next-quarter's report. That'll kick'em in the ***!

I hate the fact that entry-level jobs are the primary targets of automation. It would be much better & far easier to automate jobs held by CEOs making 6 figures or even 7 figures. All that's needed: (1) a Cdr Data-type cyborg, configured with an exceptionally large butt, a perpetual simpering grin, & a taste for single-malt scotch, with (b) a computer "brain" loaded with scanned Freshman-year textbooks from the Harvard MBA curriculum.

    That's true.

Exactly, we need to start boycotting companies. At the moment, home prices are rising at a ridiculous high level in the big cities in Holland, people should just stop buying homes until prices drop.
