    Like what?

I can see the 'Action Center' could be considered bloatware by some but those are completely optional.

That's what I use. You can batch uninstall multiple apps and it scans for leftovers after uninstalling them.

Definitely. They have made it in a very transparent way. There is impossible to install them inadvertently. While there are many apps out there relying that users will install bloatware unknowingly it is not the case for IObit apps.

A new version of HDCleaner has just been released, which has "Task Scheduler Job Files" unchecked by default. If you upgrade from a previous version and you had this checked, it will still be checked, as it remembers the previous settings.

HDCleaner is very buggy. Has potential but I just cannot trust it.

I've skimmed this thread several times the past few weeks but haven't noticed anyone mentioning CC Enhancer (I believe that is what it is called!) which I installed years ago. I only use around one half of the dozens of options. I just googled it and see (MajorGeeks, also stating 1,000 options!) there was a version released in March 2018. I have no clue what version I have at the moment. I do know I have never updated it on my own!

I just checked my program files and it is dated 3/2018 so auto updates, however, x86 so I guess no x64.

Yeah, there is virtually no app that would be OK for all. To make it not so simple there is a rule - when it works for you doesn't mean it will work for me. :)

Yes CCEnhancer is great.Wish there was a way to delete files to the recycle bin.Every cleaning program should have a recycle bin option.

    CCleaner v5.46.6652
We're pleased to announce the latest release of CCleaner for Windows [where we hope we have fixed all our screw ups]

Here are the relevant points from the changelog:
    • The Monitoring feature and reporting of anonymous usage data can now be controlled separately (previously both were controlled by the ‘Active Monitoring’ checkbox)
    • Added a separate control for the reporting of anonymous usage data
    • Added a link to a Data Factsheet, which explains the data reported from CCleaner, why it’s reported, and what it’s used for
    • If Smart Cleaning is disabled, CCleaner’s background process will close and the feature will not run on startup (same behavior as in v5.44)

If already mentioned my bad: Windows 'Disk Cleanup.' Had issues with Privazer dumped it.
    Revo does a good job

I'm having ESET ES and if something gets flagged as an adware/PUA I always look into details and if I tend to think it's a FP, then I allow it once. In this case ESET is wary and treats it as a possible 0-day exploit and treats it accordingly unless it's finally confirmed or denied exploit. So there is a tiny chance to actually get infected. Similarly works other AVs.

FWIW, I'm still using CCleaner 5.44 and it works fine, for the moment.
