Can't wait to see how regulators will see such data collecting in EU after GDPR enters in force.

Who on earth would be believe anything google says. It is NOTHING for these guys to lie through their back teeth. People seem to have very short memories.

Also there is a secret miniature battery in most phones these days. So you can't remove your battery & think you're safe. Faraday cages/meshes are the only sure way.

I guess so. But 99% watch the movies & think they're super spies by taking out the battery. LOL

    Battery or capacitor?

I wonder how long this "secret miniature battery" is supposed to last.

If people haven't figured this out yet, they need to, especially people with young kids who will be most affected by this because their entire life will be profiled by AI.
It will know who they associate with, who's house they spend time at and who else was there.
Have friends who are drug users? It will know they are also now potential drug users.
It will know who they sleep with. It will know who cheats on their wife or husband and who with and when and where.
Have friends with any kind of felony record ? It will know how much time they spend with them.
All of that and a lot more will be accessable to potential employers etc.
It will know what religion they practice, if any. What organisations they belong to, what their political persuasion is.
AI will know before they do if they had sex with someone with herpes, HIV, etc.
It will know how much time they spend at bars, how often they visit liquor stores, there really is no limit to what kind of personal habits and those of people they associate with, will be applied to their profile that will be available to paying customers, corporates, law enforcement, government agencies etc unless governments put a stop to it now.

Google empties the change out of their pocket & settles. Or unleashes their legion of bored to tears corporate lawyers letting them out to play.
