Help Please!

I just installed Look N Stop in my computer and the log indicates several hits every 10 seconds, from Port 1900 to Port 1900, from my D-Link Router DI-604.

I have read the sticky on Router Rules, but unfortunately it's all greek to me.

Can someone please help me to configure Look N Stop so that the entries in my log stop. I know I am safe with the product, but with Zonealarm Pro I never had any entries in my log, whereas Look N Stop has an abundance of entries.

I don't know if these 1900 packets are important or not for your router and your PC.

Anyway, what you have to do is: create a specific rule for these packets and then either allow the packets (if they are needed) or block them silently (if they are not required).

To create a rule, simply right click on one of these alerts from the log and select "add rule ..." in the menu.
By default, the new rule will allow the packet, just click on the Stop Panel sign for this rule if you finally want to block these packets.

That did the trick! The log entries stopped.

So far I am impressed with Look N Stop and with all the troubles that Checkpoint is having with Zonealarm, I suspect that I am one of many who now use Look N Stop.
