Yes, understood, but 10.0.0.9 should have been flagged as beta since I reported it in a previous post and it was reported as fixed. It not being fixed and It's disappearance lead to some confusion and was caused most likely by your explanation. In the future, I will just check the website to see if a beta report has been flagged as such.

Beta versions are not automatically flagged as beta. Any new version that shows up and that is a beta version, needs to be flagged as such by Kyle or by one of the SUMo 'helpers/ power users'. This can only be done if that specific new version shows up. Earlier, the mentioned version 10.0.0.9 cleared from the SUMo database. This happens some time (I don't know how long) after the user or users that have that version on their system last ran a SUMo check.

As being a SUMo 'helper/ power user', I have now flagged ExamDiff Pro (64 bits) version 10.0.0.9 as beta.
    I hope that helps. :)

If next time you can offer the specific SUMo page (for instance, for ExamDiff Pro (64 bits) that is this one) and also the product page that shows that the version is beta/ not current (for ExamDiff Pro that is this one), that could be helpful to Kyle or any SUMo 'helpers/ power users' around. Thanks.

    Edit:
Oh, I see you edited your post:
I don't know what happened before, why it was reported as "fixed" while it wasn't.
If Kyle didn't see ExamDiff Pro version 10.0.0.9 in the database, and nevertheless reported as "fixed", that would be confusing, indeed.

Maybe another reason for confusion is that some betas have both 32-bit and 64-bit versions as with Examdiff and maybe only one of the two end up being flagged as beta. I use both versions on different systems, so they both need to be flagged. Currently, I'm the only user with the 32-bit version so I guess there's nothing to flag until someone uses the 32-bit beta. Is it still possible to flag the 32-bit version if no one else is using the beta and there's an entry in the DB for the normal version?

The normal 32-bit version wasn't in the DB until I ran a check and then it got added. It should have been there. How long does this stuff stay in the DB before being cleared?

    You are correct.
As SUMo 'helper/ power user', if I flag any software version as beta, I always check to see if there is a 32 bit version as well and flag that one too. I don't know if Kyle and other SUMo 'helpers/ power users' do the same.

For ExamDiff Pro (32 bits), SUMo does not show any beta version, currently, so there is nothing to flag as beta.

    N.B.
Would you please report if ExamDiff Pro 10.0.0.9 is no longer beta, so I can remove the SUMo beta flag.
Normally, I only monitor and flag and un-flag applications that I use myself. As I don't use ExamDiff Pro, it would be welcome if you could let me know if 10.0.0.9 is no longer beta. Thanks!

    Edit:
I see you edited your post:
Right now, for ExamDiff Pro (32 bits), SUMo does not show any beta version, so there is nothing to flag as beta.
If the 32 bit beta is not shown by SUMo, I have no ability to flag it as beta. I guess it is the same for Kyle.

    Edit:
I notice that you edited your post, once again:
    I don't know.
    That's a question for Kyle.

DB content is automatically flush after "some time" (dynamic, activity dependant) but beta flagging is persistent.

Thanks for these fruitful discussions.... nothing to add on my side... we have good experts here :)

What about post 2900? The 2 red flagged ones should not have been there. I have the logs, but I don't see
anything to indicate what is causing the bogus flagging. Let me know if you want them.

I think I will set SUMo to ignore AdGuard. Yet another nightly update triggering a false report of an update.
Wasting my time and Kyle's trying to stay on top of this.

Last year, I decided to do the same for MPC-HC and MPC-BE, that had a lot of nightlies, and I got fed up of flagging those as beta every couple of days.

Should this happen again please send me logs (in debug mode) for deep troubleshooting.

Thanks ! I have tocheck on server side... looks like it may come from the low number os users for this software... which may lead to return a beta version as current when no users are "active" on the non-beta one. I'll investigate.

I give up :(. I will no longer report these errors which keep reoccurring since there doesn't seem to be a lasting "Fixed" :D for this.

[SUMo] Error Report for Emsisoft Emergency Kit Portable by PortableApps.com v 2018.3.0.8532 - SUMo reports Update available (2018.6.0.8742)

Should this even be listed/flagged? It's the launcher from portableapps (EmsisoftEmergencyKitPortable.exe) and usually has the version number 2.2.1.0. How do you get v2018.6.0.8742 out of that?
