I have way too many Bootable CDs, DVDs and UFDs (Windows and Linux ISOs), so I would like to combine them all into one MultiBoot UFD. I have read about Easy2Boot, Sardu, YUMI and a few others, but before 'diving-in' with any of them I'd really like your feedback.

Here are my most important preferences:

    - Ability to boot Windows and Linux bootable ISOs (i.e, Installation ISOs, Rescue ISOs, etc.).
    - Ability to replace/update any ISO without having to re-create the entire UFD.

Your advice, recommendations, or suggestions, would be most appreciated.

Rufus has been my go to for a while now. I have never had issues with it

Rufus can't create multiboot flash drives.

    Hi Wendi,

Easy2Boot is what I used to create my multi-boot USB flash drive. I never tried anything else so I don't know how it compares to the others, but I can tell you that E2B has worked well for me and satisfies your stated preferences.

Fwiw, I was very disappointed when I last used YUMI (2 years ago). When I needed to update just one of the ISOs on my YUMI flash drive I found it necessary to re-load all of them!!! I don't know if that's still the way it works, but if it is I would choose another multiboot builder. I now use AIO Boot (but note that it only supports Windows).

    Wendi,

I create and keep an entire drive image of the relevant flash drive. When I want to use the software again I restore the image to the flash drive. So only one flash drive is needed.

    Hi Wendi,

You said you "have way too many Bootable CDs, DVDs and UFDs". With my suggestion you only need one UFD. But of course you need to keep backup images of previous UFDs. Store these on two computers in case one computer isn't bootable. You need a bootable computer to restore the relevant entire drive image to your UFD.

Okay, I now see what you're driving at. But why do that when you can simply have one mutiboot UFD containing all of your various bootable ISOs? The way I see it, that's a much simpler and more direct solution (so long as it's relatively easy to update any individual ISO with its most current version).

I had trouble with multi-boot UFDs in the past. Some ISOs just don't work so I lost interest.

Well this thread hasn't helped much, so I'm going to give Easy2Boot a go...
