It already had Low Integrity processes before. Untrusted is better because it is more restricted than Low.

So, I guess we don't know what Firefox sandbox level 5 means (I can't find anything via Google search)?.

worth reading because users with eg Firejail needs an update for firefox 60.
(Sören Henzschel pointed that out - and added that users with any sandbox will have trouble - that includes sandboxie)
there will be no need for "jailing" firefox and its new sandbox features
(firefox 60 now also has CFG like chrome)

    See here.

That is certainly debatable as Firefox uses the same sandbox technology as Chrome which means that the broker process is not confined.

W10 1803, Firefox 60.0.1 (64-bit), Security: Sandboxie, Norton Security and Malwarebytes Premium (for life), SAMSUNG PRO ssd (I mention this as, there has been some issues with ssd's and W10 v1803). In all of the seven years since I built this PC, I have never had any "serious" issues with Ff but, it is now freezing and crashing regularly with Sanboxie not enabled. Before disabling Malwarebytes and Norton, I figured I would check here as it may not have anything to do with them. Thank you!

I'm running Norton + MB on three machines and don't have a problem with FF.

Do you mean a whole new thread? At any rate, none of these images are rendering!
edit: So I hit the link to test it after posting and everything rendered perfectly, all very frustrating!

Hi Mantra, I just tested Firefox portable, it ran fine under Sandboxie. I didn't install it in the system but in a sandbox, and was able to run Firefox portable just fine under Sandboxie. So, I don't think you should be having issues, specially since you installed it in the real system.

I suggest you create a new sandbox for Firefox portable. Also, perhaps a security program you are using could be blocking Firefox portable from running in a sandbox. Are you getting any SBIE messages, or getting a blank webpage when you try to run portable Firefox?

Thats the reason you are having a problem, you either need to update to beta 5.25.4 (Read Fix 2 and link).
    https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=25684#p133187

Or, keep SBIE and Firefox version you are using but change security.sandbox.content.level to 2 in about:config.

IMO, you should not only update Sandboxie but also Firefox to 60.0.1. Regarding SBIE and Firefox, from my end, all is working perfectly well together.

    Hi BO
i won't update firefox 60.0.1 seeing i can't export & import passwords and the firefox develop team are deaf (many users asked to add a feature to export password) and about sandboxie i prefer to use a stable version and not a beta
i have firefox installed on a desktop , 2 laptop and on imac , i haven't tons of password but export and import with password exporter extension on an usb stick it's really comfortable (at least they could update this extension)
i will create a new sandbox with settings security.sandbox.content.level to 2
    thanks BO
