I also feel like AppCheck is a pretty good tool, sits in the background without causing any problems, and according to tests it can stop most ransomware variants, so why not. It only has one flaw, the GUI and other windows are not centered, hopefully they will fix this, because this is a bit clumsy.

This program do not uninstall itself totally. Either you are serious when you create a program, or not. This is not for me. If you do not understand the basics, a way in, then you got to have a way out, THEN, you fix the rest. These guys are not serious enough.
MBR protection is enabled. With EasyBCD I add a new item to the Windows Boot Menu, AppCheck does not prevent this. So it should be?
MBR and BCD are two different things. If you want to block changes to BCD then you can add a custom rule for bcdedit.exe in the Local Security Policies and set it to Disallowed.
Not more then that it left folders on EVERY partition it set itself to protect. That and registry leftovers made me sour. Probably a good app otherwise

OK, doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It's more important that service and driver are correctly removed. But why did you decided to uninstall, did you find anything better?
