    The end of Opera VPN
    Opera Software announced today that it will retire the company's Opera VPN applications for Android and iOS on April 30, 2018.

    Since I only use my desktop version of Opera in my laptop, I am not affected by this decision. ;)

    The desktop version just uses a few IPs these days, all in Europe. They are obviously not putting much into it anymore. That actually makes it good for sheer anonymity since all the proxy traffic from every Opera browser from the whole world will appear to come from a handful of IPs. A better version of the old Opera Turbo, essentially. I can't bring myself to call a browser only proxy a VPN but they are still useful for some things..

    I never used the free VPN version of Opera. For one reason or two, I don't trust free VPN.
