CCAV was making my browser a bit lagging, so I'm currently trying this setup while waiting for Spring Creators Update:

    OS: Win10 home 64bit (version 1709, build 16299.309)
RT: NVT OSArmor + WF (block both in and out traffic)
    Hardening: MBRFilter
    OD: ZAM, HMP, AdwCleaner
    Browser: Chromium (with ublock origin)
    DNS: Quad9
Misc: Some tweaks from here http://hardenwindows10forsecurity.com/ and here https://fdossena.com/?p=w10debotnet/index_1709.frag

I ran into the same problem. I tried CCAV for 2 weeks. I wanted to like it but it slowed my browser as well. I went back to CFW 10 and all is well again. I could like and use CCAV, but not until they fix whatever is giving my browser the hit. It happens with both Firefox and Edge.

Win 10 Pro 64bit, latest with all updates.

After enabling Memory integrity I started to receive annoying device driver health warnings. I chose to disable Memory integrity (after hunting down the registry edit to do so) and have reinstalled Kaspersky Free.

What a great catch and thanks for sharing linkup. Was getting the EXACT same device driver warnings on this end from it.

gave AVG IS a shot yesterday and i noticed a horrendous lag until full install. Then i noticed that both hacker and other modules were off .what the heck AVG? my many days of remaining license are just going to the graveyard. AVAst should just kill avg totally and focus on avast genuine products I am not going to touch it again unless something great happens

Removed Kaspersky Free and AdGuard; I just cannot get comfortable with having my HTTPS connections filtered.

I also always wonder about this, despite their assurances.

I have no reason to suspect they're up to no good - in fact I don't believe they are - but the only way to be sure is to not use the program I guess (my sentiments are the same re Kaspersky). Back to uBlock Origin in Medium mode for me.

I agree, but it isn't ideal. I have some active licenses, but it's always a question for me when renewing.

With Kaspersky there is a possibility to disable HTTPS scanning and also data sharing through KSN participation.

Yeah I'm aware of this, but thanks.

With the prevalence of HTTPS sites nowadays, the app would be all but useless.

For these reason I just use the AdGuard extension, works great with HTTPS sites without the use of a certificate.

After going through AdGuard's explanation of HTTPS filtering once again, I decided to reinstall. As much as I like uBlock Origin, I do like having elements removed before the page is loaded. Plus, I do like AdGuard's Stealth Mode too.
