IMO the danger here is that too many human beings in positions of power are basically just neanderthals that can speak and this type of technology should never have been in their hands because they are still at the level where they think going to war with neighbouring tribes is a good thing and they never would have been able to develop such technology themselves. Those who do have the more advanced intelligence and technical skills it takes to work on these systems should realize this and refuse to do it.
