First we take Plasma, then we take Xfce. Thus sang Zarathustra. Here's a long, thorough review of Manjaro 17.1.6 Hakoila Xfce edition, tested in a multi-boot Windows-Linux setup on a laptop with UEFI/GPT and Intel graphics, covering live session, installation and post-install use, including look & feel, fonts, ergonomics, network support - Wireless, Bluetooth, Samba sharing, printing, smartphone support - Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, multimedia support - MP3 and HD video, partitioning, package management & updates, applications and extras, hardware compatibility, webcam, suspend & resume, resource usage, performance, responsiveness, stability, customization, various bugs and problems, and more. Have fun.

    Thanks.

    You have to.
    Yes.
    Yeap.
    Yup.
I'm not so sure. A couple of years ago, when I tried it first, Manjaro was what it is today: very promising.
Maybe it's the course of the Linux world, a never ending, occasionally brilliant amateurism.

Any distro without a big team and money behind it is destined to be amateurish. Period. Hence I stay with Ubuntu.
