    Just installed the portable ESR to my hard disk (as I always do) and after a few min. of browsing, Firefox froze and then the entire system hung. After an eventual reboot the problem continued. Eventually I was able to do a System Restore and am now using Quantum portable. The only error message was a "transient app hang" from firefox.exe.

    ||github.com/*/*.gif$image,important

    wont help:

    That would explain it. Before the system froze, I saw Firefox using 2.4 *GB* or RAM in Task Manager. This laptop only has 3 GB of total RAM.

    After updating to FF 59 I am seeing connections to http://www.markmonitor.com before I load any page. Anyone have an idea what this is about?

    edit: nevermind

    I started using Download Manager S3 when it still was Download Statusbar, it has a lot of options and it could be used together with VT Hash Check to auto-scan downloads on Virustotal. That functionality seems to be gone in the Webextension, though they now have a built-in Virustotal feature.

    I use "New Tab From Location Bar" and "Open Link With New Tab".

    Your welcome :) TMP did a lot more than those two add-ons of course, but opening links in tabs was a big part of why I used it. Hopefully TMP will get back up to speed eventually.

    @Victek By the latter, do you mean this one? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-link-in-new-tab/

    Not compatible with Firefox Quantum?

    Also: The development version of Tab Mix Plus (with that functionality) appears to be no longer available? See: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...-version-released.361562/page-78#post-2736174

    Yes, I miss that function. Using right-click ...
