FWIW ~ Just found Clean Bookmarks by Vitaly.
Does exactly what I was looking for.
I added all my frequent use sites to new Popup folder. Now, one click access to drop down bookmarks menu, with favicons, to all my frequent use bookmarks conveniently placed at the end of address bar.
And middle click to open tab without closing Popup folder. And added sub-folder, too.
    Right click bookmark, updates favicon.

Not only that, have you taken a look at all the telemetry settings in the "about:config" will make your head spin.
Nice try to stop some of that is; httXs://github.com/ghacksuserjs/ghacks-user.js

ghacks user js is to handle with care. it its recommended to copy only entries into user.js where the result is known!
nevertheless it wont stop firefox to load safe lists and create other stuff - although they are not sent.

I can't get GroupSpeed Dial to work

"A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations."

That's what I keep getting... anyone knows how to fix it?

    Obv, History is enabled now.

    I used security settings from

thats why you never will get a recommendation for settings like those. you messed up your profile and now its worse. YOUR fault! better ask before next time.

start over and create a new profile, there is nothing we can do for your damaged profile.

I had realized that and reversed to the working profile, thanks for reminding me :)

Is there anyone knowledgeable about the settings from ffprofile.com and can pinpoint the setting that makes Speed Dials unusable?

For those who don't like the sharply squared tabs on Quantum, a handy UserCSS to make Quantum have curved tabs like Australis:

    https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis

It looks really good on my Fx 59, though with a tiny black space above the tabs.

"Mozilla’s new add-on isolates Facebook in container tab to protect users

Mozilla, the company that recently called out Facebook’s current default data settings, has just released an extension that addresses the platform’s potential privacy issues. Called the Facebook Container Extension, this new offering stuffs Facebook into its own container tab whenever the social network is accessed, helping ensure the user’s data isn’t tracked...."

It seems to me that they shouldn't only be doing this for Facebook. :isay:
