    Hello,
this common issue with TC happened to me, too.
I encrypted my external drive with TC
but when I try to have access to the files I have the : RAW data error.
I read a bunch of threads on the theme, so I can provide some details.
    Here we go.

HD is an external USB3 WD Elements 2Tb.
Encryption consist of a container + hidden volume.
I used two password + keyfile, both I have copies of.
Both container and hidden volume contain data.
I can mount the container successfully, I cannot mount the hidden volume.
I don't have access to the container data (RAW).
Reading some previous thread, I assume I encrypted a partition.
    File system should be FAT32.
I don't have a copy of the headers saved somewhere else.
I can esclude I ever used the Windows prompt to indexing.
I can notice some patterns in WinHex (see links).
    0 - 496 Random data
    512 - 4080 blank space
    4096 - 1048560 repeating data

    What I did.

Yes, alas, I tried to ''recover header'' based on those saved on disk.
    Multiple times .
I followed instructions given by Dantz in similar cases.

    A truecrypt VOLUME PROPERTIES
    2000363978752
    B winHEX TOTAL CAPACITY
    2000365289472
    A + 262,144 = 2000364240896
    A + x = < B

    I can't mount the block ''start 1048576, end 1248575''.

Let me thank everyone of you in advance.
    Giulia

    Hi Giulia

We only had one Truecrypt expert here and he isn't doing support any more. The reason you aren't' getting an answer is there isn't anyone who can help. Sorry.

    Pete
