I do not want to backup or sync my Android data (Contacts, Messages, photos etc.) in Google cloud

Is there any secure solution that can encrypt my data, backup/sync my data in cloud and restore it back in a new device ?

Or any Open Source solution that can backup Android data in Windows desktop and restore it back to a new device ?

Sync.com might be candidate, but IIRC it only allows per-file upload and not folder except sync folder (I may be wrong). But it at least serves as a casual security by its encryption before upload.
So just copy & paste occasionary is not an option?

thanks. As you said, simple copy/paste option would be ideal for photos and files like pdf, doc, etc.

To backup Android Contacts, are there any third party secure cloud solution ?

No idea, I currently just periodically export to a file and save it in Veracrypt container. I couldn't find any reliable, trust worthy, open source, and encrypted back up solution.

You do realize that your Android is running google software right (the entire OS)? From their end they could easily reach "down" and grab anything they wanted to off of your phone and you would never know it happened. That is like trying to hide stuff from Microsoft on a Windows computer. If its not locally encrypted and they wanted something do you in all honesty think either organization respectively couldn't simply grab anything they wanted off devices hosting THEIR software? Please don't be offended by my directness here.

ps - if you are concerned about others getting your cloud info then use U2F with Google. Its beyond secure. You cannot hide anything from google on a google driven OS, almost certain I am correct.
