    avatar,

    Latest stable version
    WebRTC block enabled
    VPN connected (windscribe vpn)
    Win 10 Pro 64 Bits

ipleak shows a long IP Address. I checked with ipconfig /all and its "Temporary IPv6 Address", is it an issue?

AdGuard (Pro) for iOS is not updating filters (last update: 22-01-18, on several devices). When I try a manual update I get this error text: Filters cannot be loaded into Safari. Try to clear your rules and the whitelist, or change the set of used filters.

My whitelist is already empty and I cannot change the set of filters, because when I enable or disable a filter I get exactly the same error...

How can I fix this? Or do I need to wait for an AdGuard Pro update?

This is, but not a serious one. It shows your IP address inside of a local network (smth like 192.168.0.1), not a public IP.

This is a known issue with iOS memory usage. Try closing Safari and AppStore and reloading filters again.

We reduced the memory consumed by Safari on the content blocker compilation in v2.0 beta, it will be released pretty soon.

After multiple failures it worked this weekend (after I force quitted the App Store which was updating the same App over and over again).

If you need another betatester for 2.0, I'll be happy to test it.

I'm curious about something. @avatar how much percentage of reported ads use encrypted (https) connection?

Pretty cool I did not know this. I still wish Adguard would not drain my battery like it does on Android. So what I do is just use a DNS changer app and am using their Adguard DNS servers. Much better and no battery consumption. I know it is not as good as having the app but eh.

Don't know if you already saw it. But in Adguard for Windows you can use No Coin filter list.

Tbh, we have not measured that. Actually, I suppose that more importantly is what percentage of ads are loaded from first-party domains. The thing is that ads loaded from first-party domains cannot be blocked without HTTPS filtering (third-party domains - can be).

    avatar,

I had only English and Spyware filters. I had disabled auto-activate language specific filters. Just now I visited a Polish forum programyzadarmo and suddenly AdGuard Assistant icon at the bottom turned large (I had set to small) and a AdGuard popup mentioned uBlock Polish filter enabled. I checked AdGuard and all the settings were reverted to defaults.

    Don't know what happened?

    Anyone experienced the same?

I think, could be Rollback Rx issue too.

I have experienced program settings reverting to defaults with programs like Rollback Rx and Shadow Defender.

And, that day I did try few programs and reverted back to clean state 2-3 times with Rollback Rx.

You are using "Default" AdGuard DNS configuration.

I don't believe it does. For malware blocking, check out Quad9.

Adguard Adblocker for Chrome v2.9.2 (April 10, 2018)
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adguard-adblocker/bgnkhhnnamicmpeenaelnjfhikgbkllg
What's new in Adguard for Chrome 2.9.2
    April 10th, 2018
    • [Added] Integration with the new Assistant:
    • For a while now we develop AdGuard Assistant more or less independently, to later use it wherever we need — Windows and Mac apps use regular Assistant, Android and iOS apps use mobile version. Browser extension users encounter Assistant when they click "Block ads on this website" button. We will not go into the details here, those who interested can find the exhaustive changelog inside the Assistant repo.
    • [Improved] InsertCSS to use instead of the content scripts:
    • There was a certain change in Chrome browser recently, that prompted us to respond by reconsidering the way we inject scripts and styles. The good thing is, thanks to this change we now have less bugs, more possibilities and were even able to make the extension more lightweight by reducing the amount of code.
    • [Improved] ExtendedCss has been updated to v1.10:
    • This change is on the technical side, but from the end user perspective it converts into better performance and better quality ad blocking, thanks to more tools being available to the extension now.
    • Common:
    • [Fixed] Some regex rules don't work
    • [Fixed] Can't build the extension with Maven 3.5.2
    • [Fixed] Assistant menu doesn't save its position on pages
    • [Fixed] Assistant doesn't block in 'Preview' mode
    • [Fixed] Element hiding exclusion can't be applied to iframe
    • [Fixed] Filters are not getting updated after the clean install
    • [Fixed] Assistant dialog default position is different from where it should be
    • [Fixed] AdGuard extension for Yandex Browser prevents downloading of .pdf files on vk.com
    • [Fixed] Rules proposed by AdGuard for "content-security-policy-check" are incorrect
    • [Fixed] Warning Page Appears Twice
    • [Fixed] Extension can't detect it when you disable filtering in Adguard for Win via Assistant
    • [Improved] Old links have been replaced with new ones

    @avatar

thanks for the new update for chrome and firefox
may i ask you a question?
could be added an hide elemet?
i know there is block from the context menu , an new entry hide element would be great
i was trying to hide some element , i read the tutorial without luck
i used ublock origin and i was able to do it
then i copy the ublock origin rule in the adguard and i was able to hide this element with adguard

i use only adguard on firefox and chrome , i have used uBlock Origin only to try to hide it
    thanks

Why don't you use the "Block ad on this website" option in AG?
