Help me to decide: AOMEI or EaseUS or Macrium

Shadow Protect. Very powerful but very expensive. V4 I used was not be be recommended (uninstalling it killed VSS). Go for AOMEI...

 

Using Macrium free here (waiting for a discount) and I'm very happy with it. I can't say anything about the others as I've never tested them although I've read some pretty negative feedback about EaseUS.

 

Yep, Easeus has been terrible on my system since V4, I have stopped using it... Since I made may successful restoration with AOMEI I'll stick to it...

 

You will not be disappointed by incremental capability in Macrium paid version. Tried paid version of EaseUS and AOMEI (which I still have on my laptops) but Macrium gets my vote.

Am using Macrium Reflect Free v7 - perfect tool, really.
I was using the paid version (v6), but didn't use its backup features. One is paying for the backup features.
Reason for not using Macrium backup: it compresses the entire backup into 1 file. The file should be opened like a virtual drive. I prefer to copy files 1 to 1 to backup drive, like SyncBackPro.

However, as for creating images of your disk: it is an outstanding product, with an outstanding support, even for the free versions.

Testing is best. What works for me may not be working for you. I have not tried the others, but have 5 years and more than hundred, maybe two hundred or more (I cant remember anymore) of restores experience with Macrium. Not one of the restores have failed (and the day it fails even once I will try another). Its a set and forget software that delivers what it promises.
