Hi, i have a lifetime key to keyscrambler premium the middle tier1. but was wondering is it still a good program or is there better antikey loggers out there? i also run zone alarm extreme security but my biggest worry is sopmeone on the local network can log my keystrokes is why i prefer somthin like keyscrambler but has been out a long time wondered if its still great or if theres much better out there. also it dosnt seem to work well with google chrome makes the window shut when i type a key also for firefox do i need to download an extension or is keyscrambler installed good enough
I think it's a great addition to my layered security. It encrypts everything you type, so if you had a keylogger on your system and it 'phones home' all the hacker/criminal would see is fake information I have used Zemana Antilogger which is very good, but I like KS better alongside ZAM vs. ZAL.
do you guys ever get the issue in google chrome where when you hit a letter it closes your browser window? how can i fix this
Yes I agree, it's still useful. Alternatives are Zemana AntiLogger Free and SpyShelter Silent, but the first is discontinued and the second is not free. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Security-Related/Zemana-AntiLogger-Free.shtml https://www.spyshelter.com/download-spyshelter/
Keyscrambler will protect you if you have a key logger on your computer, but question is, how did it get there? Best thing to do is make sure a key logger never gets installed, Keyscrambler won't do this.
like the other guy said i just want it as a second layer of security in case theres one on the local network or somthing
That was simply hypothetical... ofcourse you don't want a keylogger on your system, that's why I said it's a great program to add to my layered security
I don't believe ZA is providing keystroke encryption. Yes, but HIPS/anti-logger is meant as a second layer in case AV is bypassed, so it can't hurt.
Hadn't used KeyScrambler for a good while. Downloaded the latest free version but subsequently uninstalled because it was impeding my system from entering sleep mode.
