The Year 2017 has been dubbed the Year of the Unicorn. Lots of big tech stories (the good, the bad and the ugly). FYI: 'cyber attacks' encompasses the likes of Wanna Cry but also the impact of big business breaches on consumers, e.g. Equifax. 'Privacy' is in reference to the preponderance of spying incorporated in products and services. Choosing one will be difficult. Comments appreciated.

Government(s) are very much against encryption, whereas Tech companies (especially smart phone manufacturers) see that encryption is essential to user security and privacy. The war exists here.
