i need to encrypt a laptop without dvd burner with veracypt,how can i do?

hi
i have to encrypt a entire laptop with veracrypt
but this laptop has not a dvd burner and veracrypt prompt to burn a cd for recorvery

is there a way to let veracrypt make a bootable usb stick or sd card?

in short you suggest me to use bitlocker ?
at least i can use a usb stick to save my password and it doesn't need to create a cd/usb Rescue?

? I am not suggesting anything. I just posted a link to a thread in the VeraCrypt forum that explains how to build a rescue UFD, and why they prefer a rescue CD.

sorry i did not want to be rude, i guess it's my poor english
but i can create a usb stick from a cd image, this laptop new doesn't have a dvd burner so i can burn and create an image of it
and veracypt does create an iso , at least as i know
so the altentive is bitlocker ,seeing i can see other solutions ,outside buy or find an external burner to use create this cd
