    Hi
under w10 pro 64 (i'm running 1709 so 16299.19) can i avoid and stop applicaion & programs mini dump?

    for example
    https://i.imgur.com/tW7s2ck.png

    in this case C:\users\myname\APPdata\Local\crashdump\chrome.exe.93.92.dump

this happen several time with some programs

i'm thinking to edit the Disabled for 0 to 1
    in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting

and disable Data Execution Prevention tab

i don't know if DEP & the registry change will block the creation of program crash dumps

do you know how block it?
is the right tweak to block it

    thanks

This is preventing the upload of dump-files to servers of Microsoft and collecting of data. The creation of dump fles is not prevented, and applications might use their own own custom crash reporting.

It can also be disabled in the group policy:

If a program crashes, the service "Windows Error Reporting Service" is starting and is launching WerFault.exe. A few seconds later a dump file is created.
Maybe it helps to disable the service.

    hi
sadly stopping the service doesn't help to block the creation of programs dumps:thumbd:
    thanks

    Doesn't that belong to Nod32?

    Yep ;)
Even if dump files are prevented or deleted, the underlying issue is not solved and the applications are still crashing.
If egui.exe belongs to Nod32 you should email these dump files to ESET or contact @Marcos (ESET Staff Account) to get this issue solved

For firefox please read and act.

    Mozilla Crash Reporter
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter#w_viewing-crash-reports
    Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems
Most problems with Firefox can be fixed by following the troubleshooting methods described below. Try these steps in order.
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems

provide some information please (text, not raw)
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-troubleshooting-information-page-fix-firefox

when looking into firefox crash-rep it might solve you other culprits. firefox or photoshop crashed only few times in all my windows usage, chrome once (extension issue).

its not regular that so many apps crash at your system. you have to resolve this.
