    @maniac2003 + @paulderdash

    I think e-mail client is important to protect because keyloggers can read what I typify and can come with e-mail as malware code.

    As paulderdash said.
    The only reason that e-mail clients are not automatically protected in HMPA was explained by Mark, July 31, 2016:

    Unfortunately HitmanPro.Alert not compatible with ESET Banking & Payment protection. If I off all protections and restart computer, that is the same situation, not run ESET Banking & Payment protection. Only uninstall HitmanPro.Alert is sufficient. I would like to use both of these programs. Please Fix It.

    @Libraman: Yes, I see your snip and it's possible to "enable" Block Untrusted Fonts, but, if you then exit out of that menu, do you see the Fonts tile remaining dark? Also, if you check your event viewer, do you happen to see event warning 111 under Applications?

    Here is this post and this post explaining Block Untrusted Fonts is deprecated in Fall Creators Build and may be removed from Alert in the future. I "enabled" Block Untrusted Fonts in the OS via group policy; however, upon start/restart, event warning 1085 would interfere with startup as this mitigation option could not be enabled. So I reset the group policy editor. Oh well. :)

    edit: typo/correction to Event Viewer

    @heikwith,

    Within HMP.A Beta 3.7.0 build 720 the dllhost.exe issue seems to have been was taken care of but others still remain.

    Ok, I got the same problems with HMP.A Beta 3.7.0 build 718, but now am going to try build 720

    Edit:
    With build 720 no problems (until now).
    I can again also start Thunderbird and receive mails.

    Here is a hint people of HMP.A: Get a banner up on your website stating your product is NOT Windows 10 Fall Creators update ready.

    Sheesh.
    Talk about hiding the fact(s) for people to see.

    You assume your experience holds for everyone. I installed Win 10 FCU on my win 7 machine to test. HMPA 720 is fine on it. I had to turn off one mititgation and CreditGuard but other than that it works fine. But just remember 718 and 720 are beta's

    My HMP.Alert licence has just expired (I had the 2015 halloween deal) - will there be any offers coming this Black Friday?
    I'm really hoping to renew with a 3 pc / 3 yr licence, as it's been a solid product.

    Check this out.

    Since the typed information ultimately needs to be decrypted in order for a website to use it, I suspect that even HMP.A doesn't protect against this. Would that be right?

    Good to know as I may need to go back to Emsisoft for awhile due to the conflict with ESET.

    The 604 build just updated to the release 723, very nice! Credential Theft Protection is default-enabled but the SAM is disabled, and for now, I'll leave it like that. :thumb:

    If you use Macrium, IFW and Acronis you can leave SAM on.

    Nice, it is not a beta/RC anymore and users will get this new version automatically :thumb:
    The website has not been updated yet (it is showing 3.6.7.604), but after downloading it i have received v3.7.1.723

    Just got alerted that the new version will be installed at next reboot. Nice!

    Edit: Updated today to 3.7.1-b723, and all is well! SAM if off, by default.

    Is there any info available that describes the real-time anti-malware protection, and how it protects you. Is it strictly a behavior blocker?

    If you take advantage of their recent discounts wait until your current superscription is about to expire before adding the new license code. https://malwaretips.com/threads/hitman-pro-63-off.77449/

    "When you activate a 1 year license, it activates 365 days. Never are days from another license automatically transferred to a new license."
