Second time lucky? I've done a second review of elementary OS 0.4 Loki, concluded with only live session testing due to too many problems, covering look & feel, networking, failed attempt at customization, some basic usability checks, and lots of problems like inability to tweak the desktop, bad theme and font contrast, no printing, mediocre hardware support, sluggish performance, laptop overheating, browser issues, music player issues, screenshot issues, other inconsistencies, and more. Enjoy.

Sad days for the Linux desktop indeed...
    Installed Xubuntu 17.10 yesterday.
I'm going to play with it during the week-end...

As always, thank you for your review. You reviews are always informative. However, I have not experienced the issues you speak of. I am using it in an older Dell Vostro Netbook and it works just fine.

You can get much the same desktop with Enso OS - a modified XFCE distro with its Panther Launcher.

A cool way to get the look of Elementary OS with none of the shortcomings. Cheers.
