Is the legacy marked one not working for you?

    X-X-X-X-X

Anyone here knows how can I modify the filter update URLs?
I'm using the Adguard standalone browser extension and figured to check it out with the windows specific filter updates(https://filters.adtidy.org/windows/filters/*.txt)
Currently it's using the extension specific update URL(https://filters.adtidy.org/extension/firefox/filters/*.txt). I tried modifying the filters.json file but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated :-D

The easiest way would be to re-build the extension yourself.

We're going to continue supporting the legacy non-WebExtension build as long as it's viable. It will work in Palemoon and old versions of Firefox.

Why in such a hurry to close down issues?
    https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardFilters/issues/6378
The problem is you should wait for follow-up from the OP and only after his confirmation should the issue be closed or after a certain time period has passed.
If the issue is being discussed even after closing it down, why not reopen it and make sure it gets solved and confirmed by customer and then only close it?

    hi
i use adguard for firefox and chrome and i really like it
is there an easy way to see what is blocking?
i know under blocks , there is a loupe and i can open the filter logs
but it's hard sometime , for example sites like artlimited dot net or other site , adblock blocks even the login button
i tried to disable some filters without luck
which is the best to fix some site , i don't want to disable adguard for the entire site
    thanks

Generally, I don't interfere in the AdguardFilters repo.

The best way would be to report the issue to the filters repo so that the issue was fixed for everybody:

@avatar I have installed the new popup blocker v2.1.7 but the popup blocker beta v1.0.21 is still among the installed extensions. I thought that the new version will override the old beta but it didn't do. So how can I remove the old beta extension?

Huh, that'd be hard to explain.

The easiest way to get it would be to wait for the next beta (just a day or two).

If you don't want to wait, do the following:
    1. Switch to release channel, wait 20 seconds
    2. Switch to beta channel back, wait 20 seconds.
    3. Extensions will be cleaned up (switching channels replaces AG extensions)
    4. Install popup blocker beta:
    https://cdn.adguard.com/public/Userscripts/Beta/AdguardPopupBlocker/2.1/popupblocker.user.js
    5. It will override existing userscript.

A few words about it. Unlike AG, this userscript does not rely on filter lists to the job. It uses different generic detection algorithms and prevents most of the common pop-up and pop-unders. So, whichever ad blocker you use, if filters maintainers have not yet handled this or that pop-up, the blocker will help.

You did it perfectly. Installation of the new beta popup was easy and straightforward. It is obvious you're used to write manuals/procedures. Thanks. :)

This current RC is working fantastic here. :thumb:

One thing that catches my eye though is how they are now using "Adguard" and "AdGuard" in various places throughout the user interface.

Check that you have "beta update channel" enabled, auto-update should work just okay.

    Thanks got it.

Just to report 2 minor issues. When I update as per your instruction mentioned I found 2 icons in Revo Uninstaller Pro i.e. the 2165 RC and 2166 RC

I then proceeded to uninstall the 2165 RC and guess what? My Adguard for desktop got uninstalled!

Now, I went to Adguard website to download the new version and the 2165 RC got downloaded instead.

Ok, just got the 2166RC from github
