Hello, Yesterday I installed Kubuntu 17.10 RC amd64 bit version. Couldn't wait for today. It turns out the RC version is the same as today's released version, called Artful Aardvark. Installation went smoothly and quite quickly. Took about 4 minutes max. At the start I set up wireless connection and said yes to allowing Kubuntu to download updates and install third-party proprietary software while installation is taking place. Perhaps this is why it was finished quickly. I hope Mrk comes up with a review of Kubuntu 17.10 very soon. Cheers!
