    Version 5.6.0
    Release Date Sep 14, 2017

    Improvements

    • Added Support for Firefox WebExtensions: We all know that the add-on SDK will be the past soon. Moving on with the Firefox, we'll soon gonna come up with the WebExtension version of the Enpass extension that will work with this update. And yes, this update will not only work with the WebExtensions but the legacy add-ons as well.
    • Brushes away a bug that was stuck to Enpass in any of last releases where the clipboard was getting cleared even if it is disabled from security settings.
    • Other minor issues fixed.

I must be too thick because I ended up with two Enpasses and no Edge extension.

Oh, I see. You need to download the new password manager and the new Edge extension. Duh!

It's a little bit messy just to give Edge Enpass support.
I now have 2 desktop versions with the wallet database and backups located in 2 different places.

I have v5.6.2 for Windows 10 from the Windows Store, and v5.6.0, the Traditional Win32 Desktop version.

I really don't need Edge support. I rarely use it.

But I like the fact that I have control over my own database, unlike LastPass which is stored in the cloud.
I could never be comfortable with that fact. Sooner or later, it will get hacked.

Well I hope that isn't as good as Edge is going to get.

Go to Add-ons and click the gear icon and select "Install Add-on From File...".

:thumb: Cool! That was simple. I had to remove the Legacy version after though.

Or drag & drop the .xpi file into the window of Firefox.

Yeah. You can also associate xpi files with Firefox. Then you can double click xpi files to install. *puppy*

I tried many, and this is the best for me.
Apart from all the other good features, I love the fact that I have total control over my database. *puppy*

The review process of the extension takes a lot of time so they decided to publish it on their website:

My Firefox Enpass Password Manager add-on is up to version 5.5.0.2, but I see the website has 5.5.0.1. :doubt:
