yes - its a small list and should not have impact. but - addings lists will makes uBlock perform different.
i dont visit sites which could perform mining. you can add those hosts to the hosts file of your system which prevents access in any program (recommended)

If you're talking about the one that drops down near the top of the page then yeah, the following works for me:

    Code:
    webwereld.nl###idg-cookie-bar

It appears uBlock is not loading fast enough on browser launch, so javascript is not blocked. I have Firefox set to restore recent tabs, scripts pass through on first load, then are blocked as normal if I refresh the page.

I think I remember a similar issue with Chrome years ago, and was the main reason I switched over to Firefox.

    Any ideas? Known issue?

    Hello @luxi,

Checkout the Advanced settings on the Wiki.
Look for the setting "suspendTabsUntilReady" and follow those instructions to see if that helps...

Thanks. Just tried that setting. According to the Wiki the tab should reload when uBlock is ready, but oddly I'm stuck with a blank page. (I should mention I'm running Nightly 58.)

    Hello @luxi,

Sorry that is not working for you. As it states on the Wiki, that is an "experimental" setting and not 100% guaranteed to work. Being that "This is a by-design browser issue", there is probably not much else to do as the browser does not wait for all of the extensions to fully load before opening pages. My browser is almost always open so I circumvent this issue by setting "about:blank" as the "On startup" page.

Yeah, some Adguard-lists have been added to the stock filter list: Adguard Spyware, Adguard Generic Filters, Adguard's Annoyance List.
Fanboy's Annoyance list offers more filters (~27.000) than Adguard's Annoyance List (~9.000) and it blocks more (annoying) social media stuff, but it also blocks rss-icons.
    Similar issue (Firefox Nightly):

Thank you @mood, that's exactly it. At least I know what's going on now.

    Hello,

FYI: For those that may wish to use the development build of uBlock Origin on Chrome based browsers or are already doing so by manually installing and updating the extension...
An uBlock Origin development build is now available in the Chrome Web Store.
Announcement on GitHub: Add uBlock Origin development version to Chrome Webstore
Chrome Web Store: uBlock Origin dev build
