New simulator based tests included: 1. PeddleCheap keylogger based on DoublePulsar exploit code. 2. PowerShell Interceptor that can hijack web sessions. Three AV based security suites were certified; Bitdefender, Eset, and Kaspersky. https://www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/MRG-Effitas-Online-Banking-Certification-2017Q2_wm.pdf
Interesting test but how likely is it that home users will encounter stuff like PowerShell Interceptor and the in-memory PeddleCheap key-logger. Never the less, good to see that some products can still pro-actively block them.
And here the fixed report: www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/MRG-Effitas-Online-Banking-Certification-2017Q2_wm-1.pdf
Well this is the correct updated link: https://www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/MRG-Effitas-Online-Banking-Certification-2017Q2_wm-1.pdf
Well, this latest report is screwed up since it doesn't show the correct simulator tests used. Appears they copied the results in from the Q1 2017 test.
Here is what I got from Webroot about the testing: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...on-update-thread.364655/page-135#post-2708529
