SUMo : Keep your software up to date

    Recently, when I double-click an entry in the SUMO list, I keep getting redirected to http://www.kcsoftwares.com/?buy. The drop-downs Get Update and Get Update from... do the same thing. Is anyone else seeing this and why would this happening?

    I don't know how that works, but if you get that to work correctly, that would be great, of course.

    I use SUMo without license.
    When I double-click an entry in the SUMo list, or when I select "Get Update", or "Get Update from SUMo page", I get the correct SUMo page for the specific software product.
    When I select "Get Update from developer's site", I am directed to the KC Softwares Shop, "Purchase license for our software". This is also normal, as I use SUMo without license, and the "Get Update from developer's site" option is only available with license.

    I have a licensed version (giveaway of the Day) and I always get Buy :confused: since a few days ago. Worked fine before that.

    Did some change on our server but this should not cause that.

    SUMo not retains columns' width after closing it.

    And as soon as you resize the window, the width of the columns is changing too :(

    I don't know when Avidemux 2.7.0 was flagged as beta, nor by whom, but per August 15, Avidemux 2.7.0 is the final/release/current version.
    Therefore, I un-beta-ed Avidemux 2.7.0, both the win64 and win32 version.

    [SUMo] Error Report for Thunderbird by Mozilla Foundation v 52.2.1 - SUMo reports OK

    Don't know why 52.3.0 is flagged as beta :confused:

    I need to report an issue with SUMo, regarding the product LosslessCut.
    Yesterday, a new LosslessCut version was released, version 1.7.0.
    I updated my LosslessCut installation, and after scanning and checking, SUMo's LosslessCut page now shows the new LosslessCut version 1.7.0 as used by 1 user. That must be me.
    However, not the new version 1.7.0 is flagged as current version, but still the previous version 1.6.0.
    I suppose that is because there are only 8 SUMo users that use LosslessCut, and only 1, me, is using the current version.
    Now the issue is, as SUMo doesn't flag the current version as current, other SUMo users are not notified.
    I wonder to how many other products the same issue may apply!

    After creating a link for LosslessCut on my desktop, SUMo was able to find it :)
    According to the log, SUMo is scanning the Desktop (and some other directories) to find new software:

    This explains why some software was missing. I forgot to put a link on my desktop for software which i have extracted to my users-directory :ninja:

    Yep. By default, SUMo does not scan for software in non-default locations.
    Extracted (portable) software in non-default locations needs to be added to SUMo manually, using the Add option, or the Additional Folders option in Settings.

    It's also a shortcut for adding folder to the additional folders list.

    i've noticed that when I launch SUMo, it loads a list. When I select the Check tab, it loads the list again. Why is SUMO not using the list that just got loaded? The same thing happens if I run a scan and then check. the loaded scan list gets reloaded. Seems to me like an unneeded step that could be avoided, no? Especially, where it takes a while to load the list. I have no options checked except show file path.
