It quarantines it right after it scans the download and so I am not how everyone else is installing it. Unless they have WD not set to real time.
Found a possible bug: Update screen is quickly changing it's numbers from 1-9, nonstop. Connected to the internet via my iPhone, as my WiFi currently has issues... Clicking on "cancel", the whole app crashed. This did not happen on relaunch, but the 1-9 issue remains. Did a reboot already.
That usually happens when the database gets corrupt on the download, so the program is trying to redownload it and it probably got stuck trying to fix the database. Try reinstall the program. If that doesn't work contact me again.
Ok, after reinstall it took about a minute for the initital update (successful). Software currently runs the inital scan. Problem is here again, it checks for new updates every 2-3 seconds (and obviously don't find). I'll reboot the system to see whether the problem goes away. Spoiler: Screenshots EDIT: It seems as if XVirus AM does not keep the signature update? As after reboot it told me that the last update was "never" (same if the app crashes sometimes clicking on log / abort update to often). It instantly looks for updates on reboot and after fresh install (and confirmed successful update, see logs also). No ShadowDefender session running currently, this is a live system.
Maybe something is preventing it from writing into disk? Do you have any other security software that may be preventing it from writing or downloading the database? The most common reason for that to happen is with a corrupt database file.
WindowsDefender (and Windows Firewall) which is installed by default. Haven't got any alert from it. No other security soft than yours. XVirus AM updates on every reboot, too, and confirms it was successful right after seconds. Will not be online over the weekend (not being at home and not having my laptop with me), i might try it on my laptop on let's say Sunday night.
I have KAV installed but I think its a software glitch that prevents it from completing an update. I reinstalled it and also purged the database folder - just in case the files were corrupted. Same result.

Is it a rebranded version of Voodoo AI from VoodooShield ? A couple of months ago Dan from VoodooShield let Dani Santos use Voodoo AI
WOW, this looks very promising I hope you'll implement Xvirus AI in Xvirus anti-malware and I also hope you'll also add this feature I suggested
