How good is now Dr. Web ? because I want to buy it

Russian AV/AM company. Kaspersky is the reign champ.

 

It seems that Dr.Web is not interested in markets outside Russia. They do little or nothing to promote the brand, nor even participate in AV tests...

 

Based on my experience Dr Web does much better than other antiviruses at detecting PUPs. As for detection of actual malware, I have no idea.

At the top on the left click on "Dr. Web anti-virus" it gives you diferents discount, it gave me 45%, try it many times until you get it. I'am using this AV and it goes fine, this is going to be the second year I use it.

 

Yesterday I introduced my new licence to dr web, and it gave me 150 additional days because I boght it last year.

 

is anyone still using it ? outside Russia ?

 

I use it, and works the way I expected, my licence ends until december 2018.
