I wonder what type of cooling system they use for that. A scifi movie I watched one time had all the main boards of a supercomputer immersed in a liquid coolant, do they really do that?

Back in the 80’s I was a Systems Analyst for IBM. One of the techs was an old guy who’s first job with IBM was working on the original IBM mainframe which took up a whole floor. His job was to run around and replace the vacuum tubes that would blow out every minute or so.

Thanks for sharing, it is interesting to see that it is used to analyze climate change and to maximize efficiency with renewables among other things, this is indeed a new image that China is projecting in the future, a very positive one towards the environment…

I have been pondering (if there was a monitor fast enough) what kind of FPS I'd get in Call of Duty hooking it up to 10,000 GTX 1080's in a multi-SLI array.

If you played call of duty on it, it would develop artificial intelligence, learn at an exponential rate and then send terminators to your house to kill you.
