    As you probably already know ReHIPS build available for download here https://rehips.com/ReHIPSSetup 2.2.0.exe is a Demo version. Its only limitation is 10 concurrently running isolated processes. You can buy it here https://secure.shareit.com/shareit/...nguageid=1&nolselection=1&showcart=1&pc=n2ws5 or click Order License from Main Window->Buy window. Once license key is entered, it becomes registered full version.

    But sometimes you want to see and experience real full registered version. So we thought, why not. VMware VMs should all have the same HWID 169C08618DCCAB32EF152BFEEAF104A696B86C08. Here is Lifetime license key for it

    Paid stable version installed. The demo would have been fine for me, but wanted to support the devs.

    Can you guys post some screenshots? I still have this feeling it's more complex than it needed to be.

    Thanks, but just look at those options. Seems like a power user tool to me. Or perhaps you don't actually have to use all of those features? For example, Sandboxie is quite simple to me.

    ReHIPs is an HIPS/anti-executable/sandbox. It makes use of Windows security mechanisms to keep untrusted processes from running.
    You need to allow processes you want to run trusted in ReHIPS as trusted.

    Malware, especially ransomware won't be executed under ReHIPS as they are untrusted as they should be by default.

    I have some questions.

    When i chose to buy, i see the information "1 year support includes free updates"

    Does it mean that after 1 year, ReHIPS stil working but no update, or after 1 year ReHIPS stops totally?

    When i buy 1, does it mean 1 PC or 1 user?

    Thanks.

    If you can use an HIPS like comodo or Spyshelter; you will have no issues to use ReHIPS, (all those options are "hidden" to average users, you have to reveal them.)
    ReHIPS gives you more control over the system via its Application Control feature (hence those options).

    OK I see, so it's able to isolate apps automatically just like SBIE, without having to configure stuff.

    We posted license key for VMware yesterday and thought why we left VBox users out. Let's fix it. VBox VMs should have this HWID C276CDFE766A0258796C6831F5CA9356587E60FD. And here is Lifetime license key for it
    50B0E3AE8D6C38EFC4BE15CE9976CD58CCAC8B63483449B7BDDB8BCF8B93DEEF2DCC20FF4D6895CC512E98412A9C7CB9CC4EB50836A84F04B68CEEE47E407269000000000000000000000000FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF560042006F007800

    During ReHIPS development we stumbled upon numerous issues, bugs and oddities in Windows and other software. Some of them are already fixed by vendors, most not. For some we managed to devise workarounds, for some it doesn't seem possible. So we decided to make a developers' blog here https://forum.rehips.com/index.php?board=13.0 I hope it'll be useful for a lot of people including:
    -ReHIPS users to help them better understand ReHIPS internals and use ReHIPS to the fullest extent of its capabilities creating ultimate protection;
    -people curious in Windows internals as this blog may contain some interesting details that make Windows tick;
    -software developers, who bump into the same problems, it may save them a couple of days of hardcore debugging and head scratching.

    Best Regards, fixer.

    I've just installed a new, licenced copy of Rehips on this system and I'm getting a recurring popup saying Rehips "failed to create user environment". I can't run any progs isolated (IE, for example), neither can I reinstall rules (same popup error) and I can't see anything in the user log to suggest an issue. I've excluded EAM from monitoring Rehips just in case.

    Normally I'd raise this issue in the Rehips forum but there seems to be an ongoing issue in accessing it, let alone posting a question there.

    Any suggestions would be very welcome.
