5.19.4 beta Seems to work nice on my Windows 10 Home 64bit too. Got rid of some problems in 5.18 I got after installing Creators update, like embedded videos on some sites wouldnt play, sandbox with my browser Vivaldi would not delete everything anymore.

try beta 5.19.4. There was a video problem that some users experienced, it was fixed in 5.19.1. If your issue is related to viewing videos, then installing the beta its likely to fix it.

If watching videos is not the problem, tell us what is it, your system and what other programs you are using for security.

I read that the Ransomware Wannacry worm stays away from sand-boxed connections and simply tried sand-boxing Firefox, although that is not the only thing I did to windows 10. I don't like the Idea of paying 300 dollars to unincrypt Windows 10 and still loose my data.

I don't understand, whats the problem you are having running Firefox under Sandboxie?

Regarding Wannacry and Sandboxie, if you get hit while browsing sandboxed or when you run files that you download or get created in the PC (if you run them sandboxed), the infection is contained within the sandbox and gone when you delete contents. Your files are safe and not touched by the infection. Wannacry dont make me blink :).

Delete contents of the sandbox. If you still get the error after doing so then you need to reinstall Firefox. Uninstall Firefox and delete the Firefox folder in Program files. After rebooting, reinstall Firefox. Doing this things should fix the problem :).

wannacry is an smb (os) infection and has nothing to do with firefox or sandboxie. who cares with a fully patched (all updates) system?

SBIE wouldn't prevent infection through unpatched SMB vulnerability.
If you are on Windows 10, you were not attacked by this malware (it couldn't infect you using it's spreading mechanism). So you don't have to worry about it.

Encrypt viruses are not at all dangerous .
Not mean i have ultimate software which will block all of it becasue it not exist but in this situation just prove/show how peoples are rly poor and refuse to do simple backup on extended disk ^^

bo, I have to tell you and I am hoping I don't jinks myself. W10 v1703 and Firefox v53.0.3 landed within days of each other. From that point on Firefox crashed several times/day on my x64 machine. I had no idea whether it was W10 or Ff. One at a time I disabled or removed Ff extensions to no avail. I have been using Ff for probably a dozen years or more and can never recall a crash. Well, around a week ago I updated Sandboxie to the beta v5.18.4 you had recommended to deal with some other issues and have not had a crash since! Thank you so much!

Ratchet, in my opinion, Sandboxie betas are more stable than the stable itself. I find thats usually the case. Since I started using Sandboxie in early 2009 the only time that's not so was during the first few months after version 4 came out. But before and after, I find betas better than the stable.

I believe you are using Firefox 64 bits, if in the near future you develop any more Firefox issues, try the 32 bits version of Firefox. Lately I seen some Firefox64 bits issues getting solved by switching to the 32 bits version of the browser. I don't know if its a Firefox thing or a compatibility thing with SBIE but it seems Firefox 32 bits functions better.

    Thanks :thumb:

If someone has installed the 5.20RC yesterday, doesn't need to install 5.20 again.
The hash of the installer is identical (5.20 RC / 5.20)
